Design and Features

New in Power & Efficiency

The 2021 Volvo S60 offers you a choice of three powertrains.  The first is a T5 powertrain that is paired to a front-wheel-drive system and a direct-injected 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower.

The second is a T5 powertrain that is only available on AWD models and features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The final and most exciting new powertrain is the T8 powertrain on AWD models.  The change here is this engine is a plug-in hybrid and works with an onboard lithium-ion battery and rear-mounted electric motor! The drive is smooth and powerful with up to 400 horsepower and a total driving range of 510 miles!

Technology

The 2021 S60 comes generously equipped with cutting-edge tech features ranging from touchscreen infotainment to active driver assistance.

One of the most notable features is the standard nine-inch Sensus touchscreen display. It's an easy, intuitive system that allows passengers to view and control everything from weather forecasts to navigation hands-free calls.
